I just got one of these myself, using one of the non-used logos from the DBO logo-search. Clearly, to us, it's not copywritten by anyone but CapitalOne STILL rejected me because they said it resembled someone's copyrighted material. So I called and asked them to explain why they rejected it, argued for a few minutes saying how it was original artwork that I helped create (it was one of the logos I had a hand in), and they resubmitted it with my arguments. A few days later I got an email saying my card was in the mail.

All I'm saying is, even if you use an image that is totally free and clear, they might still reject it to cover their butts. So call them and be a little pushy....politely. ;)
