The main thing that's tended to drive me away from Grifball (at least in Reach, I've basically not touched it in Halo 4) is the amount of objective holding that happened in that playlist. It probably would have been infinitely more playable if they'd removed kill tracking or something from the gametype.
I remember one game where I teamkilled the crap out of our carrier so that I could just end the stupidly lopsided game already. The guy flipped out at me.
