That's the general idea I was going for, but rather my idea was to let the retical be unaffected by the Rift and stay at one point in the 3-D space. Then the retical would be moved by the right thumb stick. However, let's say you wanted to "aim down sight," maybe then your head view will snap to the retical's position and you might control finer aiming with the rift...
