That's the sense I get from Traviss and company. Not a single damn character besides Hood has any respect for him, so obviously Traviss and 343 are trying to shove the "HE'S AN ELITE THEREFORE UNTRUSTWORTHY LOL LET'S GENOCIDE THEM" aspect in our faces in order to justify killing him off so they don't have to shell out the money to get Keith David on board for any more games. I was incredibly surprised he lived through Thursday War, honestly.
Man I'm bitter. :/ If they do kill the Arbiter (off screen, anyway. I could take a heroic death in one of the games), honestly, I'll lose all respect and interest in Halo. Hopefully Destiny will fill the void if that happens.
