i beat the forge on legendary by reverting to last save several times. Dont use a dispersal on the begining thrall. the myrkridia across the bridge will get slightly confused if you only place men on the hill and behind it (lure them in with a zerk hit em with a dorf and if your lucky theyll be dumb enough to run back to where they were (that's the confused part the geometry they obey doesn't like that hill)). Alric is a good fighter, especially against fetch walk him around melees to take some lightening instead of watchin a fetch blow your herons away. Sometimes using (and sacrificing) a heron gaurd you can bunch huge groups up and use a dispersal (particularly at the first myrk group at the top of the map when you start going left). Also often you can weave around groups and attack from directions they might not be prepared for (as well as normal anyway) (again i speak of the giant myrkridia group near north right when you start going left). Dont save a dispersal for soulblighter the comp takes alric from you. soulblighter is also imune to arrows, his spell blocks molotovs and units who try to get in die (alric will get him when you eliminate the last wave of goons who teleport in). i could say more but i dont care to, if you need more help email me.
