Well it seems you have done a pretty good ammount of work already, and from what ProjectMagma has done it seems that production is continuing if what might be a slightly limited sense.
Hmm a Myth 4 proposal done already, yeah that seems logical, of course TakeTwo's rejection is not all that surprising. I've heard, and correct me if I'm wrong, that most games are born out of proven business models and not a bunch of yahoo's good ideas. That being said I think theres alot here thats very worthwhile. As for making a "gazillion dollars" who knows, Myth actually got me into Lord of the Rings, not the other way around, in that sense I tended to work backwards, but for me it got me alot more interested in medieval fantasies and what not. So cash desires aside Myth was always a positive force in my life.
Hmm, doing a project thats similar to Myth could be a descent option, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's written some treatments for fantasy/adventure type games. Perhaps there could be some pooling of ideas, some kind of accessment of what we think is the best route to go. Like with Forest's desire to be involved it probably would behoove all of us to bring in everyone that has a vested interest here. Additionally, since we seem to have a completely disinterested developer for Myth, perhaps that frees us up to put our passions into a new project, and make some hey of our own. In a roundabout way doing things that way could enhance our chances of working with Myth, one way to get developers or any entertainment-oriented group to listen to you is if you can show them past successes.
To me this is all very exciting stuff, much more so than my rather dreary college life, heh. We might want to setup something of an "exploratory committee" to get things started and have some meetings to get some basic issues dealt with. I am looking forward to a good team project, so let me know what you guys think.
