Indeed this would be the ideal situation, however it is probably not a practical goal to pursue. Intellectual Property rights and Copyright Law make aquiring rights of anykind costly. Since were talking about (in my case) a sum somewhere around 10-15 thousand, its unlikely I'd be able to buy the rights in a singular fashion.
This is of course the ultimate irony of this situation, Take Two has little or no interest in doing anything with Myth, but the minute any of us start asking about rights and the cost of aquisition, the figure will be very very high. Such is life in business.
I guess thats why I posted here, I'm really not at all certain of what can be done, if anything. I have capital to invest, which is more than zero. But it is also likely less than the ammount needed to secure the rights and produce another title. That is the connundrum that currently occupies my thoughts.
