Not to be a rabble-rouser, but what would a different host have provided in this particular situation that could've averted the problem? A dead drive is a dead drive is a dead drive, as grampa used to say. :)
It seems like what's needed is for Mandy to get upgraded... mirrored drives, etc.
Maybe Obi means he wasn't happy that he wasn't informed about the server issue fast enough? That does suck.
My assumption is that Mandy is a PC that is sitting on someone's network somewhere. If Mandy is actually the contents of OFH, then my bad, I understand now.
