Loathing

I have a question about Fear & Loathing. I installed them from the Myth
II CD (custom install), but when I run them, NONE of the interface tool
buttons appear, and even choosing one of them in the "Windows" menu does
nothing, even after I've loaded a map from the game. Any suggestions?
