Myth 2 Camera Zooming control

Hi there,
I just installed MYTH II: Soulblighter, and have noticed a rather annoying problem. When zooming the camera, I find that I can zoon in and out at will when I'm not moving the mouse, but once I move the mouse the camera zooms all the way in and stays there. While I like the close view sometimes, *all* the time just doesn't work. Is there a solution to this?
