I'm sure this is an old question here, and one much chewed by now, so please excuse the lameness...
I have the Myth II cd with fear and loathing included. Did a custom install so that I got the tools installed. (Fear and Loathing, of course).
When I open a mesh in loathing, I get the toolbar down at the bottom, but some of the tools don't seem to work right. ie, I select the units tool. I get a window with all the units named, numbered, teamed, etc. But no matter what unit I select, when I go back to the map and click, it ALLWAYS puts down a unit that is either first on the list in the window, or last. I double click on the unit name, get the edit window, close that, back to the unit window, re-select the unit I want, close, and it still only puts down the first or last unit on the list. Am I holding my elbow incorrectly or something ? What is up with this ? I cannot, for the life of me get it to set down the unit I want to set on the map. (usualy archers)
Also, up at the top, under the menu for windows, I have selections for visual, overhead, tools, zoom in and zoom out. Selecting any of these does nothing at all. And I have to use the navigation keys to move about on the map. Is this on purpose ? Or should I be able to move about using the mouse as I do in the game ?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. I have also tried installing in different ways.
