Need for best editors...

Anyone help me...looking for the best editors to use for making Myth2 solo campaigns. I have used Topaz(Tag extractor), Jade(overheads, etc.) but still can't seem to understand exactly how everything "fits together". I have plans for several different solo campaigns, covering many eras (western, WW2, even Bushido. Obviously I haven't started designing, so I haven't asked for permission to use anyones units yet, but rest assured I will before posting anything! Am I missing out on anything good, or is it really just this painstaking? Thx for ANY input!
