Getting units to block

This has probably already come up somewhere along the way, but im too lazy to search through the hundreds of strings on this board. Anyway, I need to know how to get a guy to block. Do you just give him a block animation and a block lpgr? Or is it just not possible? Also, if a unit can be given block animations, id like to know if there is a way to configure that unit to block more often. Warriors never block much, and id like to change that on he unit im working on, a martial artist trow. If anyone has any ideas on this please share them.
