How do I make water...

I have got some problems...
1: I have made a colour map. and I dont know how to get in water... there is no waves...

2:sometimes my map starts loading and when it has almost is finished it crashes and goes back to main menu... Plz help me...

3:where can I find a texture library or some tips for mapmaking?
