The first thing you have to get is "Jade", a nifty program that will allow you to create fear-recognized tags for your over head and pregame. Get it at Vista.
But first, note that you'll need to turn your pics into Windows format BMP files before you use jade...and after you index the color palletes correctly.
What I'm saying is that you never have to import into Fear. Use Jade to turn those BMPs into tags, Jade will ask you where you want to save them...put em in your current maps collections folder. Then After you have the map OPEN in fear, the new collections will be available in the pulldowns for overhead and pregame.
