: Silicon,
: also if you'll notice when you finished the level
: "out of the barrier" the end scene which
: shows the stats and the survivors there is no mention
: about the Journeyman!!!!
: It's shows 2 berserks heroes,1 dwarf hero,one archer hero
: and Alric.NO JOURNEYMAN REPORT!!!
That's right, I'm afraid; there is no report on the J-man, for some reason, on the Barrier levels. Bungie just forgot to make that string, I assume, or there is is some bug in that level.
: Also A Hero Journeyman begins with 9 healing routs. But
: here the Journeyman has only six!!!So what sort of a
: man is he?
A regular Journeyman. He is not special in any particular way, except that he is a "Companion," just like the other four. A companion, of course, is a comrade or associate, as seen in the game (hence "Five Companions," "Companions").
: A hero with no report or simple Journeyman. But then we
: should have 4 CHAMPIONS.
No, five champions, hence the title, went into the Barrier, and all five rescued Alric. A champion is no more than a fighter or warrior, or it is a victor.
: PS:Τhere is and a possibility the
: word"champions" refer to the group who went
: to rescu Alric knowing that they might never
: return. Not particulary all of the men were heroes.
: Like a mad mision. After all as we know this rescu
: became MYTH for the Legion.
A "hero" in the game is a unit which has a certain number of kills. I don't know the exact number, but there is veteran status, then hero status. Each is more skilled than the one before, respectively. This greater skill allows more killing potential.
A "Hero," such as an "Archer Hero" or a "Dwarven Hero," tends to have at least the skills a unit with hero status has. Additions are often made to the unit, including greater strength and endurance (or even proportion, for Balin and Oleg are slightly larger than the regular Dwarves).
I made a differentiation above for technical purposes. You know that thing on the win screen, listed as "Heroes"? Those are the units who had a lot of kills; enough to attain hero status. Though the J-man might not be present on the postgame, that doesn't disqualify his potential to make enough kills to be a "hero."
You see, you're comparing being labeled "Hero" to being a "Champion." They are IN NO WAY related, except that Heroes might tend to be Champions. A Champion is simply a victor; and like Sili said, being a Heron Guard, former or not, is being a champion. The Five Champions were five companions who would suceed in their venture, therefore being champions. Even before they became champions at saving Alric, they were obviously superior in skill (hence being Heroes), and most definitely championed over the enemy at other occasions, therefore being champions.
Do you understand now? A Hero is NOT necessarily a Champion. A Champion is NOT necessarily a Hero. One can be the other, and simply no more. The title remains defended. :-)
