: Ok the Deceiver, being a plotting mad lying genius (not a
: sadistic masochist genius like Soulblighter) had to
: have something under his sleeve after being saved by
: the light. First off, is it not true that he had
: Phelot under his control? Wouldn't that mean while he
: may not be evil, he is still scheeming and power
: hungry (perhaps he was the only fallen lords who was
: fighting to conquor-the was the most human of them
: after all). The fact that he knew about Shiver's
: powerful dream attacks, yet he still went and
: (practicaly) suicided. And he had acsess to Phelot to
: mind control him, and even after phelot betrayed
: Soulblighter, Shiver still enlisted his help. Perhaps
: this means it was all an elaborate hoax set up by the
: Deceiver, and Soulblighter was the perfect pawn to
: damage the light. Soulblighter would have realized
: this if he had actually looked at something other than
: his love for killing and destruction! So perhaps the
: Deceiver and Phelot are still working together, alive
: while the light, beleiving him dead, is working to
: rebuild instead of investigate such interesting
: happenings.
If this is so, wouldn't you also think that the Watcher perhaps did the same when he was turned to stone and somehow fake it? After all, he was the most powerful wizard ever known, I don't think we exactly know what spells he had.
