Yes, but we saw him die. Myth is very much a 3rd party account of events, especially in-game. It's possible…but I don't think it very likely that The Deceiver would be blinding US as players of the game. If in-game Myth is just an account of events SEEN by the characters we manipulate, then that concept of the Blinding Dream on The Heroes could be acceptable to having Dec slip away and have The Heroes, and therefore us, think he was Dead, along with Shiver.
