Funny thing... while what I was told did not in any way point to the Head being the Faceless Man, it in no way excluded what you say here. Except that the Faceless Man was "Turned from the Light", which doesn't exclude having been around a long time ago (like Myrdred), but does exclude having been evil a long time ago (like Damas). Of course, he did might not really have been considered EVIL... his actions weren't explained clearly enough to me to determine that.
