: Fallen Lords, but that is true to Myrdred in some
: cases as well. But the Head also could be an enemy of
: the Fallen Lords, especially Damas and Myrdred since
: they were allies of Connacht.
This is what we (meaning the general public) know about the Head's identity:
He claimed to be an avatara or lieutenant of Connacht's. (The narrator says he claims to be a lieutenant, and later says Alric riddiculed his claim of being an avatar)
He claimed to have lost his body in a battle with Balor long before any of us had ever heard of him or the Fallen Lords.
I once used this evidence to support my theory that the Head WAS Connacht - lieutenant/avatara is a close enough lie, and I thought that Balor, The new Leveller, had killed Connacht. But we now know that Saviors turn into Levellers, and aren't killed by them and their place taken.
Until recently I had come to the conclusion that whatever else be thought about the Head, he was telling the truth (or very close to it) on both occasions. And now, after The Revelation, I stand by that belief.
