: Well, GURPS says that the Myth II Shiver was never as
: powerful as the TFL one. This may be due to physical
: or mental degeneration because of her resurrection, or
: it may be because her wounded vanity and constant rage
: screw up her concentration, but either way she didn't
: seem to have all the powerful spells (like the Whisper
: Dream) she wielded in TFL.
: Also, as usual, Myrdred suckered her. She'd clearly been
: pouring a lot of her power into Phelot, getting him
: those extra Energon Cubes for his Dispersal Dream and
: all--and then Phelot goes and switches sides! That
: doubtless distracted her further.
: But it's certainly possible that saying her name somehow
: weakened her temporarily. The fact that Myrdred stated
: her name each time he confronted her might support
: this, although it might also just mean that she wanted
: her Ravanna-name kept secret for some other reason,
: and he was emphasizing his knowledge of it to freak
: her out.

The hole in my theory is this: Shiver's true name is actually Culwyeh. So maybe Ravanna was just another false name for her. Unless Culwyeh was the false name used by Ravanna. I just don't want to get into the 2 seperate people, Voiceless One, two minds one body thing. It scares me.
