Connacht never was an avatara. A better example might be Myrdred/The Deceiver, he was a Wind Age avatara but he was so powerful I suppose he got full Fallen status. And I guess as long as we agree that the Mazzarin in The Watcher was NOT the most powerful-avatara-ever-slain-by-The-Watcher Mazzarin. Because if he is then we have to realize that shades can be made from the fresh corpse of an archmage. Perhaps corpses go sour after a time and are no longer suitable to become shades, just thrall.
