: Actually I have a threory that the female are the Myrk
: Giants, read it a few posts down.
Yup. That's probably the most reasonable theory about Myrk genders. But, you'll have to agree: Those are some ugly women!
: But if you don't
: believe that, then why would you think that they
: _aren't_ very similar looking? The are carnivorous
: mammals after all and as someone pointed out it's
: pretty hard to tell the difference between female and
: male nomadic mammals. Humans and monkeys are abnormal
: in that they _are_ noticable different. Just look at
: felines, canines, or any of the others.
Yes that's right, when you look at them the only way to tell unless you're a zoologist is to check downstairs. But we all know no one likes that, not even animals :)
This theory that they're home is just an alternative theory instead of the Myrk giant=female theory or the theory in which females and males are mixed together, looking similar like we discuss above.
: Now my argument against why the myrk females are "in
: the home, protecting the children." Aside from
: the misogynistic implications (forgivable since Myth
: seems to be generally like that) this just doesn't
: make sense.
You're probably right, this was just an alternative theory I thought about, I don't believe it though. In fact, I haven't even formed an opinion on this yet :)
: Myrkridia are a race of nomadic pack
: oriented carnivores. There is no reason why they would
: have a "home" in the first place.
In the first place, they didn't have homes, correct. For the sake of arguement, perhaps Soulblighter forced the resurrected females into a kind of prison camp, which would be a forced home, while the males ran around eating brains, etc.
Again, this is just a little alternative theory I came up with, and the more I think about it, it's probably not very likely the Myrk females would want to stay in camps to raise babies, but it is possible.
