: world, The Province and the empire of the Cath Bruig.
Imagine the Rocky Mountains exploding - ALL of them. Even the East Coast would be hit pretty hard by that; earthquakes, new faultlines running outward from the mountains through the midwest and the crust was cracked by the force of the explosion, etc. Sure, I doubt lava would flow all the way to New York; but nevertheless NY would likely be sitting in rubble from al the geological upheaval.
