: In Soulblighter during the level The Forge while SB is
: trying to shatter the Cloudpine Soulblighter says
: "I have killed the whole world" Why would
: shatterin g the cludspine kill the world? Why would it
: even be so bad, it would finalyly allow open passages
: from the east to west year-round. I can see how
: everyone in the vicinity of Tharsis would die, but the
: whole world? I dunno.
…Because it would explode. It's like breaking the spinal collumn of the world, everyone in the Myth world seems to think. To put some geological reasoning to it, I'd say that the entire mountain range, being volcanically created, would all have inter-connected subterranian paths all beneath the range. Then, going into the most active spot (Tharsis), Soulblighter attempts to release all (or a lot of) the energy within the Earth at that one range. The result would be the upheval of a helluva lot of geological energy right at the Cloudspine, it breaking open and shattering, magma and all the volcanic deadly stuff blasting out in all directions. It would cover the Earth, destroying most of the surface (if not all), or perhaps destroy the entire Earth, somehow. Wooh! I bet Wyrd would be PISSED!
