The Thrall only weakened him, he only saw that he was going to lose when he saw the Watcher coming for him. I guess the question is how large are the waves of thrall? 10? 100? 1000 apeice? But even though the thrall ARE the backbone of the armies of Darkness the Dream of Unlife is an immortality dream, I think.
