: They're Champions. They're used to risking their lives
: for the greater good. If the odds were so hopeless
: that they wouldn't even dare to attack Phelot, then
: *Phelot* would have attacked *them*, secure in his
: greater power.
Ah, I think I just realized the answer! Myrdred used his Binding Dream on Phelot. Because Myrdred was Light at that point, that would mean Phelot became Light after the Binding Dream was casted upon him. That means:
The champions did not attack Phelot because he was one of their own! A fellow Light fighter, they realized this after they saw his obedience to The Deceiver. Thus, since no one was left to fight, they sat back and watched the pimp'n'ho battle it out.
: Actually, it would heighten the action. Give you
: something to do instead of just sitting there for 5
: minutes while Myrdred drains Shiver's life. Think of
: how you hold off the enemies on The Forge while Alric
: duels with Soulblighter.
In my mind you, Silicon Dream, are one of, if not THE most well-versed person in Myth and the art of healthy debating. I bet you could convince Einstein he was wrong about Relativity :)

PS--Just as an ego boost, tell me I'm not that bad at debating either, and I'll give you a Skittles bag! 8^D
