: overcame him, collapsed the shrine onto Sinis, who was
: still living, then made into a Shade. It makes sense
: that way because the Mazzarin Shade (as seen and
: killed in the Watcher level in TFL) was still around
: during Alric's time.
That also means it makes sense why Sinis worked for the Deciever. Perhaps the Deciever found Sinis' ruined body and Sinis (who may or may not have been quite dead by then) accepted Shadehood, knowing that the Deciever wasn't the best of mates with the Watcher and that joining him would be his best chance of getting even with Mazzarin.
