Wait... Was Mazzarin a good, Light Avatara when he collapsed the Shrine on a living sorceror, the Dark Sinis? Was it the Shade Mazzarin (the one Bah'al made after the 7 waves of thrall overcame Mazzarin) who did it to Sinis, a Light avatara, who was then made into a Shade?

: I emphasize "you'd seen". Mazzarin died ages
: before Alric was born. How then, would Alric know the
: shade was Sinis (his name's not stamped on his
: forehead), and why would Sinis refer to Alric having
: seen him before?
Perhaps the Shade form of Mazzarin, which was forced onto him after the Watcher and the 7th wave of thrall overcame him, collapsed the shrine onto Sinis, who was still living, then made into a Shade. It makes sense that way because the Mazzarin Shade (as seen and killed in the Watcher level in TFL) was still around during Alric's time.
