: If the head is Moagim, how did he get to be so powerful?
: He knows about things he couldn't possibly have seen,
: either because he was underground, or far away. No one
: else has this ability, including the leveler-posessed
: Balor. He also has a mojo a thousand times stronger
: than the Deceiver's. The deceiver is quite possibly
: the most powerful sorceror in living memory. (See his
: flavor text.)

In a previous post, I mentioned that prehaps the head was just a head reanimated by the deciever. The Head seems to be allied with the deciever as in several "coincidences" the light falls right into the Deciever's grasp, as well as helping him defeat rivals such as Shiver and the Watcher.

As for The Deciever being the most powerful sorcerer in living memory, I racall that though the Watcher almost didnt survive his battle witht he Deviever, however he DID manage to defeat him. Or am I horribly wrong? Also has anyone noticed that the whole internal uprising sparked by the head is very much a la Deciever?, this encouraging me to think that it was the Deciever's power behind the head. And as the head's apparent "powers" I dont really know what you are talking about. The Head didnt really do anything magical (with the possible exeption of the civil war thing), he just knew the personalities of the Fallen Lords VERY VERY well, and also had a broad knowledge of where artifacts and other magical trinkets were.

: My own theory is that the head exists to make sure the
: cycle happens properly. If the light loses, the cycle
: is over. If the light wins too well, their
: civilizations survive intact, and they crush the dark
: before it gets started the next time. The head takes
: steps to hurt both sides to make sure that the light
: wins, but just barely.

Speaking of cycles anyone noticed the cycle of ideas involving the head? Ive probably seen a dozen strings on the head, as well about a dozen posts stating this theory.

There isnt much supporting evidence for this theory, yet there isnt much evidence against it. I dont personally agree with it but thats just MY idea =)

My secondary, and somewhat silly theory is that the Head was Ravana's husband. When she eloped with Damas, he grew very angry and chased her. When he caught up with her and Damas, she promply cut off his head and buried it. When unearthed he was left with a terrible hatred towards Ravanna and the rest of the Fallen Lords... hehe.
