Version 1: After his battle with The Watcher, at Seven Gates, Myrdred was badly injured and disappeared from Light knowledge until Myth II. This is the version stated by the Myth II manual and by GURPS.
Version 2: After his battle with The Watcher, the Deceiver crossed west over the Cloudspine and waged war in the Province until after Balor's death, when he retreated and was caught by a Light army near the Stair of Grief and cast into the Dramus River, to stay there frozen until Myth II. This is the in-game Myth II version.
