: The Revolutionary War is in the British curriculum, at
: GCSE level at least.

I did not know that. What does 'GCSE' mean?

: Oh, and by the way, a revolution,
: by its very definition, must affect the mother country
: in some way. Britain wasn't affected at all, it was
: simply left, therefore "War of Independence"
: is more accurate.

Not really. There is nothing in the definition of "revolution" which indicates that the mother country must be affected; I haven't a clue where you got that. The Revolutionary War was revolutionary in that it was unique. There was no war on the scale of the Revolutionary War for quite a while before. To rebel so utterly, so drastically for incredibly radical independance; to have a freedom and republic unseen completely since the time of the Romans—THAT is revolutionary. It was, as the definition goes, a "complete change of the political organization"—at least in America, but that's enough.

: It shouldn't really matter which kind of Level/ler we
: spaek of. After all, the one in Myth does both.

Actually, Myth (the game) only does one: Leveler.
