Kyrilla's father was Kyrand the Mage. She thought Fenris Four Bear and ne'Ric betrayed him when the attacked Cartucke the 1st time. Then when she saw her fathers memories she realized she'd been tricked. His connecetion was the he died because ne'Ric missed his shot to kill Cartucke that's why he swore he'd never miss again. Even though he does.
