: Ah, I see. Yes, all the people you mentioned are
: exceptional. And I'm glad you have had his support and
: services in the past (also ongoing)?
well the timing for finding out about asperger's syndrome and autism was exceptional (and too long a story to really recount), but since my mum did everything right without knowing i had asperger's we didn't really need to shift anything, so contact with tony is relatively unnecessary, although he does offer support groups as well as personal consultation.
i just realised that all the people i mentioned had asperger's syndrome, which is a much milder and slightly-off-to-the-side version of classic autism... but that'd draw me off into a long rant about the possible and known causes of autism in various forms and their incarnations. :)
: I also think we should remain skeptical of claims that
: can't really be proven. <=== that's just the
: annoying person in me, though.
true, none of those people can be properly diagnosed now, but records or their lives are consistent with the hallmarks of the syndrome. :)
: Err, no. Wait, that's really me. :)
:)
: Cheers, lank, and stop beating my boks in cricket.
well if my team is beating yours, then they deserve it. :P
::admits that he's not actually that big a fan of cricket and barely knows the scoring system for it, much less who's playing and winning now or how good anyone is at it::
cheers. :)
