: Did that comet signal the beginning of the Sword age
: and the end of the Wolf Age or had that already
: happened.
Well, it's all supposed to happen at once. The Leveller shows up, a Great Hero rises to oppose him and the forces of Darkness, the Comet rises and Tharsis erupts, and it's all over and done with. In TFL, the Comet and Tharsis were 50 years late, as was Balor's death, which is part of why it's screwed up. But according to the calendars, the new Era started at the fall of Muirthemne, in 2431 A.E.
