No there was no ancient alliance, the truce between Ou'Khan the great king and Caliban was forger during the last age we know of the Sword Age in which the Cath Bruig were destroyed. But I think it's very likely there was a war between the Bre'Unor and the Fir'Bolg. B'Yalaggo would have been greatly strengthened by the amound of death during the great war wouldn't she? Perhaps another Bre'Unor as mighty as the great Gor-Ash has arisen. The Gor-Ash scenario is one of the funnest i'd ever played, I'd love to see a sequel with the Fir'Bolg Bre'Unor battles following the defeat of Balor.
