I'd avoid that page, and in fact that whole site in general. :-) The info tends to be slipshod and incomplete, and "facts" aren't distinguished from "theories." If you want hard info, go directly to the game texts via the Encyclopedia on this site, or get GURPS.

The hero Tireces also came back as a Leveller--which means that in both cases where a Hero survived his Great War, he later came back working for the Dark.

But yes, the Hero loses every other millennium.
