Archer just pointed out that it's not the same place. Nonetheless, I don't really see the Dark running around setting all the Forest Giants' idols on fire every time they invade. :-) The placement of the fire seems very methodical, too; in the braincase in TFL, in the eyes in Soulblighter. Whoever built or maintains the idols, I think they're also responsible for the fire.
