Un huh Yeah like any self respecting Smithy could and would never make 1000s of axes. It would take the combined work of hundreds of smithies to produce that much. Also scavenging for armor would produce a great number of different looking people. It would require them to scavenge armor and metal melt it down and reform it to new stuff which I dont think is happening.
