: I've noticed that even the greyish flashing pair of orbs
: that drop out of the sky and kill the Deceiver at the
: end of "Shiver" are, like all of the other
: flashing orbs in TFL and SB, illuminated objects
: resembling The Tain.
: Why is this object so ubiquitous? And does its
: composition -- two tetrahedrons, one inverted, both
: coincident in position, mean anything? Tetrahedrons
: have 4 points... Would be nice if one of the
: tetrahedrons had a point broken off.. :)
Lessee now...I'm sure I can work this into a theory of how the Deceiver survived...OMG! The mini-Tains transported his brain out of his skull and into Alric's mb!
Actually, I think it's so common because they didn't want to bother making multiple flashing orb sequences. :-) And the composition is just based on an Escher print, so you'd have to ask *him* if it had any original meaning.
