I know Damos is soulblighter. But I believe at the time Soulblighter was known as Damos, he was still believed to be "good" and he served under Connacht as one of his commanders. (yes, i know balor is connacht as well)
During that age, Connacht was fighting an evil known as the Myrkridia, and Shiver may have been known as Ravana, a "pleasurer" for Connacht's fighting forces.
