That brings up a question I've been meaning to ask. Has
: anyone thought about how much influence individuals

: and hords of undead slaves? Again I dont think this is

Someone actually had a theory about that, with Shiver's "Will you bow to anyone who claims the throne of the Cath Bruig? remark. Connacht was emperor of the Bruig. Other emperors took his place when he disappeared; but to Myrdred, who knows Balor is still Connacht, and is still alive, and thusly the rightfull emperor, perhaps he IS simply serving out of loyalty.
