Thats kind of like when a Christion is babitised. It is more or less figurtive. Only in this case instead of avowing to follow a code of love and decency they are now evil and corrupt, willing to massicur entire populations in an attempt to do... what?
That brings up a question I've been meaning to ask. Has anyone thought about how much influence individuals besides the heros and levelers have on their own fate? I mean why would a man like the Deceaver willingly join the cause of a Leveler? Loylety? With this case that seems unlikely. Power? Over what...blasted lands and hords of undead slaves? Again I dont think this is his style.
So what makes some turn the the Dark? Are the gods perhaps more subtle in the manipulation of the lesser folks than of their two main play things?
