: I’ve just been looking through the Myth comic, and I read
: a passage in it that says the Trow war against the
: Oghres lasted for thirty years. GURPS, however, says
: that it only lasted four. I don’t remember this being
: brought up before.
Yeah, it is a pretty clear conflict. I don't know how you'd choose story-wise; on the one hand, most of the GURPS info is basically what humanity believes, and the Trow would know their own history better; on the other hand, the Trow might be lying.
Probably Myth III will go with GURPS, because it makes for a tighter story and that timespan is part of a larger description of the time of Connacht.
: P.S Forrest, whereabouts does it says that the Trow came
: into conflict with the Myrkridia (you mentioned
: something to that effect during the rampancy hl chat)?
: It actually says at the end that the Trow didn’t say
: anything about the Myrkridia.
I can't speak for Forrest (since my attempt to reroute his phone system failed), but I think he misread the sentence "both had come into conflict with Connacht.) I suspect that even the Krids stayed low when the Trow were around--especially because Trow aren't edible.
