In Response To: Re: Missing Fallen, Shiver, and Soulblighter (Martel)

: I quote GURPS: "The Lurker: Little is known of this
: Fallen Lord, OR HER FATE." nuff said.

: Judging from GURPS, I would guess that only a handful of
: scholars and mages even know of the existence of the
: Faceless Man, if that. (the only reference to him in
: GURPS is that "It could be that Shiver and (the
: Voiceless One) are the same... and the last Fallen
: Lord has yet to be revealed!")

: I'm inclined to agree with you about the Watcher really
: being dead. Hell, he was SEEN being shot with those
: bone arrows!

Yeah, plus he exploded, but did you notice his head was still intact... :)
: Shiver: Dead. But has been resurrected twice already...

: The Deciever: Who knows?

I honestly don't think the Deceiver is dead simply because there was no reference made in-game and his death was rather cheesey. I can't find what GURPS said about his death or if it says anything at all.

: Soulblighter: Currently dead, but is a major villain, so
: probably has some contingency plan to get himself a
: new body.

But he's dead. How can dead things plan?

: Those Fallen Lords that have survived will probably lie
: low for a while, having seen Soulblighter's defeat,
: but, should an opportunity of gain arise, they will be
: there.

: As for the plural Fallen Lords having been destroyed
: after the great war, remember that all this is being
: seen from a Light perspective. People don't like the
: idea of there being an Anchient Evil on their
: doorstep, so Alric probably sponsors the idea that the
: decemation of the army of one of the Fallen equates
: with their death. I'm not sure if Soulblighter had any
: significant forces left afer the battle at the Great
: Devoid, but if so, once they were destroyed, people
: would most likely assume that he had been killed in
: the melee. The same could apply to any of the other
: Fallen, though some think that the Lurker and the
: Faceless Man were operating outside the known lands.

I'm still not clear on which Fallen Lords are which considering we have about a dozen names for six people. I know the basic ones like Soulblighter's names and The Watcher, and also the Deceiver, but as for the rest, I have no clue. As for YOU Forrest... Your unique position of controling all we read here makes you powerful... perhaps TOO powerful... :)
