: Are Fir'Bolg humans? Does the term Fir'Bolg refer to a
: certain human people such as the Cath Bruig? Or are
: they another race entirely? For that matter are
: Bre'Unor primitive humans wearing masks or a savage
: race?
: I think Fir'Borlg are human since they have no features
: which would distinguish them as otherwise, they also
: speak a Western language, or at least one close enough
: so that soldiers of the West can understand them. As
: for Bre'Unor, I have no idea, thier wearing maks so
: you cant really tell, however I assume because of
: thier stature that they are probably not humans,
: however they could just be a particulariy tall race..
: what do YOU think?
I think the fir'borlg are a different race entirely. If you look at a close up on pre/post game screens you see they have elven like ears. They speak western languages for sake of communication only. I mean, if you lived in Germany would you speak German to an American if they did not speak it. I would assume the armies of the great war, at least at the point we enter it had learned the forest languages or the fir'borlg had learned human languages. People of both races living on the borderlands probably had a mixed language that could be understood either way.
The bre'unor are, in my humble opinion, a race of humans who inhabited the forest before the fir'borlg came, and where gradually pushed into the central arias of the forest.
Well, that's all I can say right now as it is late and I am looking at a very tempting pizza right now that need attention.
Most respectfully
