So every time something weird happens to the cycle, the Great Devoid blows up? :-)
Incidentally, there was a large explosion at Rhi'anon, apparently simultaneous with the Devoid explosion, which took out all half-million Dark troops there; this is suggestive of both bits of Balor exploding simultaneously.
