: L and D are obvious.. but what exactly is an
: "A-spirit" and a "B-Spirit"? Is
: that used just to show that it's the same person; i.e.
: Connacht=AL while Balor=AD?
Well, sorta. See, we know Tirces and Moagim were the same person. Moagim Reborn is, of course, a reincarnation of Moagim. GURPS says that Alric hates horses because four immortal ones are still dragging the pieces of his former body around the world - that is, that he is also a reincarnation of Tireces/Moagim. So four of the eight Great Heros/Levellers in known history were the same spirit, reincarnated over and over again. I call this spirit "A", after Alric.
We also know that two of the remaining four Great Heros/ Levellers were the same person - Connacht/Balor. It makes sense that the other two, unknown Heros/Levellers, who fought against the A-spirit's incarnations, would also be that same spirit. (Specifically, the Leveller who Tireces defeated and the Hero who Moagim defeated). I call this the "B" spirit, both after Balor and because having spirits "A" and "B" is cool :)
