: this era's Hero. But it's never explicitly stated. It
: could be, I suppose, that Rabican or the Head or
: someone was the Hero, and Alric's just managing to
: hang on and delay the Dark Age through luck and
: skill--but GURPS gives hints that Alric may have been
: a reincarnation of Moagim, which would place him in
: the Hero/Leveller line.
: And yes, it's true that (as Dan Rudolph pointed out
: elsewhere), we don't know that the Leveller always
: dies, even when the Dark wins. However, GURPS does say
: that a major Dark lord has never survived long enough
: to enjoy a period of secure rule. So it's a good bet
: that most Levellers don't last very far into their
: Dark Age.

I beleive the first or second post I put on the asylum was saying Alric would return as a Fallen Lord and why no one ever considered it. I also remember that everyone blasted me for it :)
