: Journeymen seems to be as ranking officers! They gave
: orders to other men.Together with Warriors
: Captain,Jorneymen had the leadership of the army. Also
: we saw that in TFL there was a leuitenant of
: archers(Fir'Bolg)who was carried a magic bow but he
: was ambused and killed by Thralls!

: Also,I think that in the legion veteran's had respect
: among the others common soldiers,so in the battle many
: warriors follow their orders.

The authority of Journeymen seems to be based on this last bit. They aren't actually in the Legion at all--before they returned to the Heron Guard, they were simply free agents who opted to help the Province. But because of their centuries of knowledge and experience, the Legionnaires naturally followed their orders.
